Falalala Card

"For this card I had a lot of fun using the last collection of Bella

JJ Sobey Shows how she quickly made this Christmas tree (below) using
fabric tape and a styrofoam tree shape. See details here.

Jules Eickmeier tells how she made this angel tree topper (below). "I
have been looking for an angel tree topper for the past couple of years
and could not find one that I absolutely LOVED. So, I decided to make
one. The base is a paper mache cone from a craft store, the papers are
some I had in my stash and I attached the lace, beads etc. with Helmar
Adhesives. I found the perfect image on the internet (free download)
and printed her onto canvas paper, used my Yasutomo Pearlescent paints
to enhance her and then attached her to her 'skirt'."

Linda Cain made this Graphic 45 Kraftboard Altered Art Box w/Album with
their Christmas Emporium papers and stamps. She has also been
showing the inside pages of the album on my blog daily until they're
done. See more details here.

Linda also recently shared how to make this snowman tag on her blog
here. See one photo below.

is from American Crafts. Border punches from EK Success for the snow
"look". Leafy Branches punch from All That Scraps. ( I cut off a
couple of the bottom branches so it'd look like a tree) Sweet November
Winter Kids stamps from All That Scraps Stamped with Memento Tuxedo
Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers. Cut out and mounted to
the background.
Sentiment stamps are from All That Scraps... Amy R Stamps Merry and
Bright set. I used my Stamp a ma jig to place the sentiments on the
card."

Thank you to Paula Jennings for submitting today's card. Please read
below for details on how her design was made.

"I took gold ink and inked the front side of a Sizzix embossing folder.
I took it out and used Utee embossing powder and heat set it. Then I
took an ink blending tool with the Holiday Distress inks Festive
Berries and Evergreen Bough and rubbed over the raised portions. I
took a cereal box and used a Sizzix die Gingerbread Man. I colored it
with Distress Stain Wild Honey and then used my blending tool with
Distress Walnut stain to 'brown' the edges like a real cookie. I used
tiny black pearls for eyes, black gel pen to trace the mouth. White
Liquid Pearls for the icing on the arms and legs and Red Stickles for
the little hearts. I mounted the Gingerbread boys onto the embossed
backgrounds and then onto the card."

Thank you, Paula! Please visit her at her blog here.

Here are a couple of holiday-related ScrapScene tutorials we posted
last year that you may like to try.

Mini Felt Houses. These are such fun to make and a great idea for
ornaments. You can embellish them with lots of different things - maybe
even monograms.

Pipe Cleaner Christmas Trees: These I posted on my personal blog last
year. They are a little time-consuming, but the results are so much
fun! You could attach them to little spools so they can stand up on
their own. I think some pink and white ones would be really cute too!

Today's card comes to us from Keely Yowler. Please read below for
details on how her card was made.

Supplies:
Patterned paper, stamps: My Little Shoebox "Winter Wonderland"
collection
Cardstock: Colorbok (navy), The Paper Company (kraft)
Ink: Tsukineko StazOn Azure
Ribbon: Studio G
Adhesive: Glue Arts

"I love using non-tradtional colors on holiday card to add a touch of
whimsy. I used a pre-made 5×7" card base and adhered a 5×7" piece of
navy cardstock to the front. Next, adhere a 4.5 x 6.5" piece of pink
patterned paper to front. Cut calendar diecut from patterned paper and
adhere to bottom of card. Tie bow and adhere ribbon to middle of
card. Stamp 3 trees and sentiment on kraft cardstock. Cut out and
adhere to card. Use dimensional foam adhesive to adhere middle tree."

Thanks, Keely! Please visit her at her blog here.

Find other ZORGIUM pages using AZ.COM:

Enter your search keyword(s) into the search input field of http://az.com
The zorgium specific results appear in the right hand margin.

Find other ZORGIUM pages using your favorite search engine:

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of http://bing.com, http://yahoo.com or http://google.com.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.

DISCLAIMER: Zorgium is a free world-wide-web engine from AZ.COM. You may use it, but by doing so you agree that your use of other people's information discovered via our website is entirely your responsibility. Enjoy!
